SPS Outstanding Chapter Advisor

Dr. Edwin Greco currently works as a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology - School of Physics and serves as the advisor for their Society of Physics Students chapter. He earned his B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Jacksonville University and his Ph.D. in Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Greco is a member of multiple professional organizations including American Physical Society (APS), American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT), and Sigma Pi Sigma. He has received multiple faculty awards over the last ten years, proving his passion and commitment to teaching and inspiring his students.
Throughout his time as Georgia Tech’s SPS advisor, Dr. Greco has been instrumental in organizing events for the chapter, mentoring students, and serving as a liaison between students and faculty within the school. Under his guidance, the SPS chapter has played a crucial role in Georgia Tech and the educational community in the Atlanta metropolitan area. What separates Dr. Greco from other advisors is his passion for promoting outreach, focus on adapting and growing his teaching styles, and genuine concern for the welfare of students.
