SPS Leadership Scholarship
Bryant is a physics major and will be beginning his senior year in the program in the fall of 2016. Bryant has been involved with SPS since the summer of 2014 and since then has participated in many outreach services, been in the presidency for his local SPS chapter and lead SPS conducted research projects . He will be serving his second year as head of research for his local SPS chapter at Utah State University. He is also currently serving his second year on the National Council for SPS as Associate Zone Councilor for zone 15. He is currently involved in multiple research projects including projects in the areas of computer methods in cosmological general relativity, atmospheric LIDAR systems, and radio astronomy. He is employed as an observatory TA, operating USU's telescopes for students in introductory astronomy related classes, as well as for multiple public nights that host hundreds of people of all ages. He is and has been the undergraduate teaching fellow for the classes Introduction to Astronomy and Intelligent Life in the Universe.
