Rahaf Youssef

Biography

I am a rising senior at St. Olaf College double majoring in physics and mathematics. I was the president of the St. Olaf SPS chapter during my junior year. During that year, my team worked on creating a stronger sense of inclusivity and community in the physics department. After graduation, I am planning to pursue a PhD in experimental quantum computing. Over the last two summers, I have been involved in quantum computing research at the University of Notre Dame and Fermilab during the summer. Additionally, during this summer, I will be working with LIGO at Caltech. When I am not doing homework or tutoring for physics, I am enjoying my work as a writing tutor or reading a history book.
