Dr. Kiril Streletzky named Outstanding Chapter Advisor fpr 2014-15

Second official meeting of the 2015-16 SPS National Council.

Elon University will host the Zone 5 Meeting April 15-16, 2016.

Each spring, thousands of high school physics students descend on Six Flags America in Bowie, MD and its gut-wrenching, free-falling, thrilling rides—and physics enthusiasts from across the Mid-Atlantic region are there to welcome them!

Consider volunteering for this fun event—details will be posted here as the 2016 event is planned. Volunteers will run accelerometer stations near popular rides, show off physics demonstrations, and talk to students about what it’s like to study physics. And yes, volunteers will also have plenty of time to play.
