Amandeep Gill

This week was much more mellow than the last, it was nice to have that change in pace. I spent most of the weekend catching up with laundry and getting ready for the week ahead. Sunday night a couple interns and I watched Tron and Mulan, there was much singing along.

My third weekend in DC was filled with some much needed relaxation and sleep. Friday night was fairly uneventful. Some of the other interns living in my apartment decided to stay in and watch movies. The next morning was unfortunately and early morning.

This week got off to a good start.  I spent Monday as a nano-scale scullery maid!  Translation: I suited up in a lab coat, gloves, and goggles and used a chemical process to clean off our silicon target substrate several times to be sure it was spic and span.
